Death toll in syria

Death toll in syria is over 900. That is a lot of people for such a small country says me. It is a phenomenon known as the arab spring. US should push for more freedom for the people and less repression. After all we need to have trading partners that uphold rule of law and not just some petty tyrants and their wims.
