Publishers allow customers to browse books on net

Finally, you can read a few pages on the web before you order the book. One advantage retail stores had was that you could check more than just the cover before you put some money in the register. On the net digital downloads were possible, but you pay first and cry later.

Not anymore, now you can see the first few pages. Try before you buy.

The sevice is called insight and it will allow content on myspace. You can share a book with friends over the net. Sounds to me like the publishing industry is borrowing a page from the music industry.
