Value of college

At one time, the 1950's the university was the path to a good job and lots of money. Well, those days are over. Have you ever gone to a country where most people are poor. Sadly, many go to college hoping to get a better life that they think is just around the corner. However, we later see these same college grads driving a taxi cab or working in a hotel hoping for tips from rich americans. Those americans never went to college, but started their own companies. Hard work equals success. Sadly, these days having a degree is a mirage. Short on delivery, but long on promise.

Take a look at the two titans of our modern age. Both Bill Gates and Steve Jobs dropped out of college when they were young. It was the right choice and then and still is now. They could have stayed in. Hey, can you imagine.

We too need to be aware. This society does not value knowledge anymore. The king of college is not a man of science. He is an over grown boy that still plays games.
