Pope addresses widespread abuse this Easter

Pope Benedict will address child abuse cases. He like many of us does worry. I believe this is an attempt to crush religion and cause a smear. Law makers want to throw the book at 'em. The people pushing for an investigation are trying to cause damage to those who believe in a higher power.

3D taking off

3D displays are taking off now. Interest in tridimensional displays has taken off since the avatar movie. This is a bold new technology that has much to offer us. Please get into it as the train is leaving town and you want to jump on.

workers leaving the silicon valley

Folks the recovery is a hoax, as in there is no recovery. OK we now learn that many workers are leaving the silicon valley because jobs are gone. What happen to the high tech high paying jobs is called OUT sourcing. That is as in all those jobs were sent overseas. People are now starting to finally wake up.

sputtering economy

Folks, we have a sputtering economy. It is like a dying old engine. Fact is, I can hear the death rattle in the air. Today our gov announces disappointing job numbers like it is a surprise. Lets face it, there is no recovery.

Chevy Volt vs Nissan Leaf

Talk about turning over a new leaf at nissan. OK more than the chevy volt, nissan leaf is an affordable electric car. How will it start on cold mornings? That is my worry. Well, you see, electric cars depend on a chemical reaction from the battery, and do not do well in cold weather, but like warm. Also, where does the energy come from to make the car warm. That could mean a reduction in mpg, or in the case of an electric car, it would be kilowatts/hours per kilometer or so.

Monday, March 29, 2010

Saturday delivery over

Forget about getting letters over the weekend because Saturday mail delivery will soon be over. OK so says US postal service. They now want to cut expenses. People this was an old prediction of mine. I told you that rising fuel prices would put in a crimp. Expect more cuts in services in coming years.

Concentration of power

Did you know that a most sites on the net are own by a few big companies? All this so called freedom we have is... Well, it is an illusion like a false mirage. There is a massive concentration of power. A few elites control what we see.

Saturday, March 27, 2010

Bankrupt Banks

There were 41 banks failures this year. This is not good news. Debunkers claim that all is fine and I am crazy. However, what do we see? Basically, that unemployment is rising. As people lose jobs they cannot pay their mortgage because they have no money. In turn the banks loaded with bad loans begin to sink into the mire. As more banks fail people start to pull out their money.  This is called a run.

Where would you go if you had a time machine?

There are many films where the hero time travels to the 1950's and lives there for a while before coming back to now. It was a golden era. There was little trouble in moving in. OK so you had a choice of classy cars. Radio were big and there was awesome music. Citizens felt safe and secure. Most families were happy and there was little crime. Teens hung around the soda shop and movie cinema.

Well, suppose you had a choice of what time period you could reside in. The 1950's were the golden age. Jobs were plentiful, cost of living was low, and it was the height of the american empire. People back then were nicer. I believe a time traveller would do well with a 50s slang dictionary.

Thursday, March 25, 2010

Hot Tub Time Machine

Well, as most of you know, I love time travel. Here, right on the subject is just such a movie. Hot Tub Time Machine is a vehicle driven by John Cuzsak and his evil minions. Hmmm, ever hear of a good minion? OK so the story is four losers time travel back to 1986. It is a barrel of laughs and so goofy it is pure genius. Time to clock out, because Hot Tub Time Machine is a movie you will enjoy.

euro sinks

Today, euro sank to new low against the dollar in what is a collapse of the eurozone. Problems are not only in greece. OK now we have a down grade of debt in portugal and soon will follow spain. Things keep getting worse. I predict nothing less than collapse of our global economy.

Tuesday, March 23, 2010

Contaminated virus vaccine

There is a rotavirus injection you may wish to not use. Evidence of contamination of virus vaccine. It is polluted with a pig virus. Strange stuff to be sure. This can cause disease in humans and a major health issue.

Monday, March 22, 2010

FEDEX

I did notice that FEDEX is moving less packages now. There are many reasons. Basically, number one is that the recession is not over. What we have is a gov that lies to us. They claim all is fine while people starve to death in the streets of america. How much longer must things continue to get worse and worse. Politicians keep singing - prosperity is just around the corner. Please wake up.

Sunday, March 21, 2010

organic, are you sure

USDA cracks down on false organics. I had noticed that many big biz were moving in. They like to make money. Well, one way is to cut corners. Often these big biz have a less than ethical view. The original farmers were small, but pure.

gas goes up

Today, I went by a Shell station and saw gas over $3/gal. It was selling at $3.09 and my prediction is prices will increase. Back in 2008 when gas went over $4/gal and later crashed I predicted that in 2009 is would go over $2.50/gallon and that in 2010 over $3/gallon. Well, in Feb 2009 when gas was $1.39 a gallon debunkers were laughing. They told me peak oil was a hoax and that gas prices where not going to increase.

Loss of Google means darkness for us

Google is a bright light, but its loss means darkness for all of us. What is happening in China today is a harbinger of things to come. Governments want Google to censor.

Thursday, March 18, 2010

Sat radio

Sat radio is a failure most epic. It reminds me of sat phone in that it is a great concept, but people do not want to pay... The reason is the people prefer free over a membership price. Satellite radio is getting delisted on nasdaq so get serious. This is one more HDRKID saying that is coming.

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

Fast Fiber

FCC has a national broadband plans with 100mbps. This is fast to the max. Plan has been submitted to congress. Hope this means super fast downloads for games. Also, the we will be able to stream HD movies. The future is here now.

Tuesday, March 16, 2010

Oil prices rising

Debunkers claim that peak oil is decades away. They seems to forget that it cheap now. The only reason gas is not over $5/gal is our current economic crisis. With millions out of work there are less people going to work everyday and less cars. However, China is growing. The supply of black gold dwindles every single day until it will be no more. Future price of oil is rising. In the last decade we saw a meteoric rise. Well, I predict in this decade you will soon see not only gas shortages, but pay a lot more.

Monday, March 15, 2010

supreme court in with tea parties

Wife of supreme court justice Clarence Thomas is starting a tea party. This is interesting news. Perhaps the movement is taking on some power. OK we shall see.

Sunday, March 14, 2010

Flying cars

Folks, you do not have to wait for tomorrow, because the future is here now. What could be more futuristic than a flying car? I mean this is not a dream made up. This is a reality that is here now. The Terrafugia Transition is a roadable airplane that is also a car.

Saturday, March 13, 2010

spring forward

Time to set our clocks forward an hour to stay in sync. Sunday is daylight savings again. OK so we lose an hour, but we gain it in fall so all systems are go. This reminds me a bit of a time warp. Except of that we gain more hours of light during what use to be night of course.

Wonder why we still do this clock mess. It does remind us that time is relative and that we are only trying to alter what we measure. Real time does not suffer from this game.

Friday, March 12, 2010

China oil use up 28%

China's oil use goes up 28% in one year. Folks, this is scary. OK, my prediction of gas going over $3/gal this year; well is will come true soon. However, we could face super high prices later in this decade if demand continues to rise.

Petroleum price to will soon rise. What we have is both an increase in demand and a decrease in supply of fossil fuel products as more nations industrialize and grow. Expect prices to rise as we consume more.

Thursday, March 11, 2010

Oil prices

Folks, yesterday I calculate that it cost me over a dime a mile to move. This restricts long journeys. Find myself using an electric assist bicycle more. John Titor did say to get a bicycle and it seems a prudent sense. I predict that oil prices will skyrocket in this decade. There is less over every day, but the demand increases. It is more than just india and china, but the whole world is becoming more reliant on technology as we go. For example, twenty years ago cell phones in africa were rare. Well, now they are common. It requires petroleum to make the plastic pieces. Sadly, our world is becoming more industrial and less agrarian. This means future price of oil will increase.

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

LHC shutdown

Large Hadron Collider will be shut down for a year. It seems to me that there is always some problem going on. Perhaps we can get to the bottom of it soon. I wish I could travel to geneva. Would like to see it this year.

Tuesday, March 09, 2010

3D TV is now

Folks, we have now 3D TV from samsung. It is a bit pricey. The cost is $3,000 for this new technotoy, but it is a big step up. Actually 2D leaves me feeling a bit flat and then some.

Monday, March 08, 2010

What to expect soon

OK we are told that high tech is the healthiest region. That it is going to weather the storm in our economy. Well, that said, I would not be buying any high tech right now. For one, I expect out sourcing to the max. In fact, the few remaining factories will be shut down and move overseas. Jobs in america will vanish like vapor. Few will create new technologies that would cause new jobs to appear. The machine is broken and instead of fixing it politician say that all is fine and I am wrong. Folks, that is not going to solve our situation, and what will take place is a new crisis.

Sunday, March 07, 2010

What is coming up

Debunkers claim that all is fine, but they do not hear under their feet the groaning ice. It is getting ready to crack and when it does they will do the debunker flipflop that is so common. That and claim that all my predictions are obvious and that they are easy to see. Well, back in 2005 when I did warn you. Yeah, about GM going bankrupt making fun of me was easy. GM was a much bigger company. It seemed a lot stronger than now.

It is time to wake up. Few can now see what is coming. Time to turn on your high beams and focus on the road ahead if you wish to avoid crashing your car. It is time to prepare.

Saturday, March 06, 2010

What I see

OK, we are told we are in an economic recovery. Where are the help wanted signs? Instead, what I see is every single mall and small town square has more has more openings. I am not talking jobs, but vacancies. Boarded up store fronts are now common. Folks, this was not the case a few years ago. There are now more empty stores than ever before and many more will close in the coming year. Get ready for ghost malls to become common.

Friday, March 05, 2010

College is bogus

College tuition is going up. This is a scam. Why go to school when there are no jobs out there for you. I think people need to realize that this is dead end street without a chance for improving. It costs a lot of money. You get a worthless piece of paper.

gone with the windmill

Pickens Plan to free america from foreign oil using wind turbines is gone with the wind and then some. There is no push for the gov for anything except a new carbon tax to increase revenue. Pickens will cut capacity of his wind projects and pull back on natural gas. Basically osama wants nuclear power. Forget all this talks of going green. The only green politicians want is money.

Thursday, March 04, 2010

Saturday mail may end soon

Get ready for a new postal service. People now use email and  other forms of distribution of letters that do not involve paper. This means the game is on. In the future mail delivery could be a fond memory. In some ways much like the fabled old west pony express.

Wednesday, March 03, 2010

Abuse of power?

People are accusing Senator Bunning of abuse of power. This man is doing a filibuster blocking unemployment money. The question is why, and the answer is power. He crushes the poor. There was plenty of money to bail out banks went they were in woe. I see is billions for banksters, but not one penny for the poor.

Postal service cuts 30,000 jobs

Sadly, there is more bad news. Loss of 30,000 jobs via postal service. These are good jobs that pay a living wage. It is getting harder to find work this year. Politicians say we are in a recovery. However, the facts point to a future that is very grim. High use of email is part of the reason.

Tuesday, March 02, 2010

Financial crisis in europe

There is no recovery. In fact, there is a financial crisis in europe. It reminds me of the fall of the roman empire. Take a look at greece. The riots are massive. It is not the only country in crisis. What about spain? Spain has a unemployment rate of 20% and rising. This is not a recession. No, this is a D-pression and more. Expect gold to go up. It is real money.

Monday, March 01, 2010

Who was John Titor

There are those who do not believe he was the real deal, a soldier from temporal recon. However, he did give us pause. In fact, many of the things he spoke of are getting closer every year. We can still wonder who John Titor was.

Apple admits child labor used to build iphones

Apple computer admits that children were used to build ipods and iphones. This is very scary. I have been told that sweat shops are being used all over. We must take a stand against this abuse by megacorps. We should ban all products produced using slave labor and impose heavy fines on execs.

Prediction is large waves for hawaii

Hawaii is suppose to get today with a 16 foot wave. Folks, this is serious. Back in May 23, 1960, there was a tsunami that hit hawaii. It was cause by a large earthquake measuring approx 8.0 on reichter scale off the coast of Chile. Well, this wave was over 35 feet high. It hit hilo like a hammer, crush most the downtown area. I predict that this one will not be as bad, but it is a good idea to be very aware.

Friday, February 26, 2010

World in woe

In financial capitals all over the world there is peril most poisonous. Sadly, our worst fears are confirmed in greece. The situation is spiraling out of control like an airplane doing a tail spin. The greek economics minister says this latest disaster could doom the eurozone. For certain the coming economic crisis will affect the euro. The bailout of europe requires massive amounts of money. Folks, this is getting serious.

Thursday, February 25, 2010

Jobless claims rise

Jobless claims rose unexpectedly due to snow. Yeah right, snow. They are now blaming our economic woe on snow. I mean you can't make this stuff up. Right now the so called awesome WREAKcovery is falling apart and they blame the weather, so I guess the new excuse in the summer will be a heat wave. I mean they better think up a new excuse. Get ready for more excuses in our coming summer.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010

Bernake in hot seat

Chairman Bernake will testify today in front of congress. The situation at capitol hill is grim. Folks, our economy is not in recovery. Financial infrastructure is not as wonderful as we were led to believe by men in congress. In fact, things are bad and are getting much worse.

For how long can we keep printing little green pieces of paper? The world is awash in our soon to be worthless money and we keep printing more. The problem is that we listen to nonsense. The problem is not a spiraling deflationary depression, but inflation caused by banks being given excess money.

Tuesday, February 23, 2010

Barnes and Noble sees slower sales

Giant book seller Barnes and Noble see slower sales and drop in profit as people are not buying books anymore. This is a bad sign. It means that there is no recovery. During a recovery sales increase. What we are seeing is a slow down of our economy. People are spending less money. Folks, this is very bad news.

Monday, February 22, 2010

economy back on track?

They say our recovery is back on track according to experts on our economy. In fact, economists discount trouble and forecast expansion. Well, I forecast more trouble ahead and no recovery. Instead of an economic recovery, what I see is economic ruin. Take a look at greece. There is trouble ahead for the euro. In our own yard we see things are no better in america. I forecast major woe for our corner. Ask yourself, for how long can we keep printing our candy colored currency?

Sunday, February 21, 2010

Twitter Topples Toyota

The brake problem could break the world's biggest maker of cars. It all started with sticky accelerators in the super green prius. Well, it was ignore by the company. Then twitter topples TOYota as reports come in. People started telling each other about problems with their car. Toyota tried as best as they could to ignore. They cannot hide under a rock with this one. People want answers. How long has this problem been going on without them telling us?

Al Haig gone

Four star general Alexander Haig is no more. He was secretary of state under prez reagan. Sad to see him go. He was one of the more intelligent people in DC. Sadly, there are few at that level now.

samsung camera

The Samsung TL350 is quite a camera. It shoots 1080 full HD video for your movies. Also, it can do 1000 frames per second in high speed mode to do a superslomo, but the movies are only 138X78 in size. This device is a look at the future of digital camera. It is so small that it fits in your pocket, but at a low price. It cost approx $300 and change, for some very lucky guy.

Friday, February 19, 2010

Do people in the future talk funny?

This is a question we can ask and hope for an answer. Basically, we can wonder about what tomorrow will bring, but so few can imagine. For example, right now we are going thru the great american vowel shift which will change how we speak to each of us. True, people in the future will sound funny - to us.

Jobless claims surge

Folks, there was a giant jobless claims surge. This is a very bad sign. It means there is no recovery. As people lose jobs foreclosures increase. Sales decrease due to less money. Due to a drop in sales, businesses are forced to cut hours and pay.

Thursday, February 18, 2010

Walmart sales fall

Walmart sales fall 1.6% and due to cost cutting profits rose. Folks, we are suppose to be in a recovery. However instead of improving, things are getting worse. Why is it that politicians are lying to us? The sad part is we believe them, yet again. If Walmart with its low prices, cannot sell more, where does that leave us? Right now we are in an economic WREAKcovery.

Wednesday, February 17, 2010

King Tut died of malaria

This just in. King Tut died of malaria which cause his short reign. A disease which was deadly then is easy to prevent now. It is interesting that we know such much about the past, and yet we wish we knew more. If we were able to time travel back to ancient Egypt and the giant pyramids we see, how many of our questions we could answer.

Tuesday, February 16, 2010

ancient mariners

There is evidence of very ancient mariners. For a long time men have taken to the sea. This opens up a pandoras box of questions and few answers. Perhaps the big barriers are not the vast oceans. If we had the ability to travel over water long ago, then maybe our history is wrong. At any point it shall be re-written as we learn more.

Market Prediction

Has it come to your attention that we could be into a double dip recession? Actually, we never did leave this severe economic recession. In  fact, workers have been forced to take cuts in pay. Those lucky enough to have jobs in this economy. Sadly, we have seen a decline in the average wage. The government is raising taxes to deal with the shortfall in revenue. Well, this means in your pocket there will be less money. My prediction is that this translates into less sales for companies.

Valentine's day

Saint Valentines day is here with roses and romance. Hope there is soon more good news. Basically, most people want to be told that everything will improve. Wish that were so.

There are frightful scenes ahead according to remote viewers. Most of these have to do with a breakdown in the fabric of society induced by greed over money. People need to help others and not be as greedy and exhibit more concern. The big problem in the days to come is lack of heart as people act like cold machines or as I call it - more MANchine than man.

swine flu hit 57 million americans

The dreaded H1N1 swine flu virus hit 57 million americans. It killed 11,700 persons. We got lucky this time, and dodge the bullet, but next time our luck may run out. The 1919 spanish flu epidemic killed 500,000 people in US region and over 50 million globally. If the mexican swine flu had been more virulent then perhaps we would have seen many millions die right here in america.

Friday, February 12, 2010

Economists say gold will do well

I see a double dip recession. FED is trying to say everything is fine, but the numbers are telling a different story to me. Basically, that we cannot continue to print little green pieces of paper. Gold is real money. Economists say the dollar will fall and inflation will increase.

China raises reserves

China raises reserve requirements once again. This is not good news. Folks, this is making it harder for companies to finance and find new money. Global economy is heading down as we move into a double dip recession.

Thursday, February 11, 2010

asian carp

Folks, it is an asian invasion. That's right, asian carp are invading the great lakes in america. These fish would create problems max major. In fact, the ecological destruction would affect more than sport fisher men and women. It would impact a major food source. There is mounting urgency to prevent the asian carp invasion.

Social Networks are a time sink

Social Networks rob you of time, life, and privacy. They are a time sink in that you lose your resources. People are starting to ditch social networks and go out more. What can we say. Like always we agree.

iranian uranium

It sounds like a comedy act from a third stringer comic. IAEA confirms iranian enrichment of uranium. This uranium move should come as a surprise to no one. Did we really expect mr almond-dine-jihad to keep his word like a man? Well, it is time to wake up.

Monday, February 08, 2010

pepsi causes cancer?

They say sugary soft drinks like coke and pepsi can cause cancer. This is terrible news. Heck, we won't be able to drink pop soon. First came the soda tax, and now they cause cancer. Not sure if I want to drink pepsi now.

Sunday, February 07, 2010

US drops out of moon race

Buzz Aldrin says he favors scrapping our moon program. Basically we are not going to the moon. The lunar program is gone. This is interesting because John Titor said that we did not return to the moon. This is but one more sign. Yeah, a sign of the end of an empire.

Saturday, February 06, 2010

Toyota's problem is software

The new toyota hybrid cars are fly by wire. That means that it is software that controls the brakes on the car. Perhaps it is a computer virus. Whatever, we have an unsafe at any speed toyota prius car. Folks, a pirate could infect automobile electronics with a computer virus.

Friday, February 05, 2010

USB 3.0

Folks, USB 3.0 is here. This is almost as wonderful as fire wire. That said old usb devices are still compatible with the new. This is wonderful news. I like the Dell laptop computer with USB 3.0 and the new processor.

Thursday, February 04, 2010

Problems do not go away

Problems do not just go away. The solution in not to plead ignorance. What happens if we ignore a fire - it grows. Sadly, we ignore the problem of illegals for many years. Well, we have  evidence of northward movement by crime gangs. Yes, america will soon face the nasty turf wars. It will soon have mass narcograves. The debunkers will as usual claim that everything is fine, and that I am crazy. That is until a huge number of  bodies pile up. They will then do a typical debunker flipflop and say that things have always been this way. Well, that is not true, because in the 50's we had a lot less crime.

Wednesday, February 03, 2010

ebook wars

Well, one day we will fondly remember the paper age. However, soon that heavy back pack full of bulky book will be replaced by a thin viewer. In the ebook wars who is winning? Well, so say apple, others say amazon. There are going to be many losers in this war. Not sure if the reading public is the winner. I predict that people will in the future download books much as we now download movies.

Tuesday, February 02, 2010

Hitting the Target

There is one thing that I cannot do, and that is hit a target in the bulls eye 100% of the time without a single miss. What debunkers demand is 100% accuracy. They want every single one of my predictions to come true or else they claim they are all wrong. Well, no one is 100%, and that is a fact, but setting the bar so high is just a ploy to prevent the acceptance of new prediction technology such as remote viewing.

Monday, February 01, 2010

Bankers love money

Megabanksters love money. President Obama believes we must regulate them. Well, I agree. Right now we see the destruction of our economy. Sadly, all this could have been avoided and now we would not have our current economic crisis.

High Speed Rail

For some reason trains did well in the 1800's era. It was the steam age. However, now in the 21st century there are those that want a return to the train in the form of maglev and other triumphs of super science. The problem is that they are very expensive. Sadly, it will be a while before there is high speed rail in america.

Friday, January 29, 2010

Full moon tonight

As many of you know there is a full moon. I love to see it and also to use my HDR. This decade holds many challenges for us. We hope to be up to the task. OK one quick question for you. How can the back crawl?

Tea Party Movement

I saw how the Tea Party Movement made gains. It went from small to immense. Few liberals could imagine. That is why they prefer to ignore. Well now they are scare. In fact, many were asleep until the loss in mass. That is when many woke up. Is this a John Titor style civil war? What is coming?

Thursday, January 28, 2010

AIG scam

Basically we have a scam by a giant insurance company. They took our money. AIG plays and the poor man pays. Here is mysterious Schedule A from AIG. Much of payments went to foreign banks that were in woe. Yes, they pay them with our money.

iPAD is here

Talk about a game changer, but this is no small piece. The iPAD is a media engine. This is what we wanted and here it is. People can crow. However, Apple will grow. The iPAD is a big shift in that it incorporates touch tech in a whole new platform of service for you. Microsoft needs to get with the program. Otherwise it is game over.

Delta has wider than expected loss

Delta airlines is worlds biggest carrier. Well, things are not good in the going. Losses continue to pile up. Sadly, despite lower jet fuel prices, the airline continues to lose money. In fact, Delta airlines loss was wider than expected last year. Skeptics claim that things are getting better, but I tell you they are getting worse.

Bill Gates says recovery could take years

Richest man in the world Bill Gates says economic recovery will take years. Well, in the last depression it took a long time for US to emerge. That said we were an industrial power house back then and now we go to the store and almost everything says MADE IN  CHINA. I mean how many items are made in europe? It used to be that we had some stuff from japan, germany, ect. Well, now it all comes from china and then some.

Bin Laden warns of war

Bin Laden warns of more attacks on america. He says this is a holy war. The modern battle of radical islam against the secular west is seen as a crusade by his "holy" warriors. OK so far we have been lucky, but time is running out and that luck could soon end if we do not take active measures to secure us. If we have another 911 in the future it remains to be seen. For some reason he has been able to evade us.

Supreme court upholds free speech. Finally, because I am tired of excuses. Politician say this will lead to a flood of money. I do not agree. We need to be free to speak what we see. Let's hear it for the supremes.

Scott Brown wins in mass

Republican Scott Brown wins and is now a senator from Massachusetts. What can Scott Brown do to you? Well, get rid of Hell care. Needless to say, this will sound the alarm for the dems as their demise it proves. This is bad news for the prez. President Obama campaigned non stop for Coakley the Democratic candidate, but reps win. This means that there has been a shift in the tide of public opinion.

Video games are poison - Hugo Chavez. And you thought your mom and dad were strict. This guy wants to ban games. I mean so middle ages. Well, then again, so is he. It is like we are living some strange times. Right now he made import and export of computer games illegal and punishable by 3-5 years in prison.

Mehmet Ali Agca is known as the man who shot the pope. OK today, he was released from prison. The is very strange news. However HDRKID did predict this would take place in days that were coming. Well, you do not need to be a genius. I mean to understand the message.

consumer prices rise

What we have is inflation more and more. Yesterday, for the first time in months, I saw gasoline selling for $3.02/gallon. The value of the dollar is declining and consumer prices are rising. This is not a drill, what we see is more trouble coming. As transportation cost increase, expect food prices to also increase. OK one of my Keystone Predictions was that we would have the the average price of gas go over $3/gal and rising.

Predictions for the next decade

There are many predictions for next decade and we will see which come true in coming years. Electronics will get more expensive. As for now, what is taking place is that the dollar is in a decline, while gold rises. Often gold going up is a sign of panic. Perhaps people fear what is coming.

over 100,000 dead in Haiti

It is with tears in my eyes that I write this. Sadly, the news is in. There are over 100,000 dead in Haiti and many are stilled trapped in ruins. Well, many of you do not know this but I did visit this island years ago. It has a very wonderful history. Haiti actually helped the US gain its independence back in the 1700's. The earthquake that hit Haiti is one of the very worst ever. Haiti is the poorest nation in the entire Western hemisphere and as such was very vulnerable to a quake this massive.

Roxxxy the Robot Girlfriend

There use to be Robbie the Robot in the 50's Forbidden Planet movie. Well, make room for Roxxxy the Robotess girlfriend who is a personal companion. She has inside her head AI or artificial intelligence to help her make decisions on how to act. People are becoming more like machines, and computers are becoming more like humans. What we fear is here in the new year. Wonder what you do if the robotess breaks down. That sounds like a job for one CarlosX robot repairman.

Light worsens migraine pain

Scientists have discovered why light worsens migraine pain. The brain has a pathway from eye to affected areas using the optic nerve. This explains why people with teichopsia seek a dark room. It is not the visual disturbances, but light itself that causes pain. Perhaps this will lead to better treatment or even a cure. I can tell you from past experience that it is no fun to experience pain. Few compare to the side splitting headache of a migraine. This could help us to understand teichopsia and fortification spectra.

Job mismatch

There are many jobs being lost now. However, the few jobs being created are in health care. As our population get older we need more nurses. Sadly, most jobs are lost in construction. There is a job mismatch. This means few laid off workers will find employment and those that do often take massive cuts in pay.
