eurozone program

After US bank bailout, we now see an eurozone economic stimulus bill.

americas forests are dying

Sad to say, but our forests are being destroyed by the Emerald Ash Borer beetle. The initial infestation started in Michigan near Detroit but has since spread to neighbor states. Millions of trees are dead and millions more are at risk due to a pernicious beetle from China.

SSD is here

The solid state drive is faster than a regular hard drive; it uses less electricity and in the future will be cheaper than the magnetic platter. IBM made hard drives back in the 50's and they steadily improved the design.

Because it has no moving parts the micron SSD is ideal for laptops. I predicted that SSD would replace HD and it is taking place.

Feeling blue about bluray

At one time bluray was supposed to take over. The HD movie formats would kill the DVD, but instead here we are in 2008 and we see that few bluray burners are selling, few big plasma television sets are selling, and few bluray movies are being bought. At Office Depot a single blank bluray disk costs $25, but for $9.95 you can buy a spindle with 100 DVDs, that less than a dime a disk.

This will be a blue Christmas for bluray, Sony again manages to pull defeat from the jaws of victory with an overpriced format. Due to the current economic crisis people are not willing to spend big bucks on fancy expensive electronics that offer slightly better resolution.

Financial Collapse

Major financial institution are facing catastrophic collapse. The FDIC may soon run out of money to insure depositors. This could cause a run on the banks as the economic crisis cause by mortgage meltdown turns into a raging firestorm of destruction.

Using remote viewing many seers are prediction the demise of our current system. People are near a state of panic and never have things been so grim. On a more positive note, hdrkid has an HDR how to ebook.

Youtube goes HD

Youtube is on the bandwagone with high definition videos. First it was vimeo with free HD, actually 720p, then came Viddler with 1080i, but the big master Youtube is now going to move to 960 pixel format. The future is here.

Citi never sleeps?

Today the gov says that it will give 20 billion to Citi and cover 300 billion in bad loans. Well, those 20 billion come from the bank bailout fund. Already, this year the gov gave Citi 25 billion, but that was not enough. The big banks continue to fall. First it was mortgage meltdown and now we see that the whole financial system is heading toward catastrophic collapse - our economic crisis will get worse, far worse!

Automakers Bankrupt

The Wall Street Journal says that the big three automakers are bankrupt. Mind you I said the sam back in 2005 and many chose to laugh at me. I told them that their laughter would turn into tears. Congress refused to give the big three more money.

Speaking on money, Citigroup says it is for sale. The big bank lost half its value this week, 30% just yesterday. This should give you a small sample of how bad things are.

Dow Dives

We have a terrible situation. The Down Jones Industrial Average is DOW again today. Things are falling apart. Hold on to your seats. This biggest bank Citigroup is down about 50% in just the last four days. They plan to cut 52,000 jobs.

A very different Detroit

At one time, Henry Ford put the world on wheels with the Model T-Ford. It was an inexpensive affordable car in a world were most vehicles were made for the rich. However, Ford Motors may soon see the end of the road.

Nationalizing Detroit is pain, but it will save the auto industry. People need to look beyind the now and see a new greener Detroit that makes enery efficient vehicles. The big SUV truck of the 90's will give way to new microcars and tiny automobiles that use alternate fuels and electricity for transportation.

Sacred Geometry

One area of study in the paranormal is the arena of complex ratios. Steven Gibbs uses the golden ratio to design the HDR. In fact, use of phi and other sacred geometry is quite common in his magical machines.

Many works of wonder such as the ancient architecture found in Egypt known as the Great Pyramid employ the golden ratio in its construction, as well as pi and phi ratios. This gives us a sense of the mysterious, and we wonder why these ratios are so important in our modern world.

Why Detroit failed

Think big as in Hummer, that supersize SUV with its 7 mpg fuel ratio made many switch to small cars like the Toyota Prius that advertises 45mpg, but I can do about 71.8mpg without too much trouble. Here is a list of ten cars that sank Detroit.

Trouble for Detroit

Giant automaker GM says they are running out of money and bailout seems less likely. Well, there is no Plan B, and if the gov bailout fails, then what?

Detroit may see a grim future if all three automakers fail. The gloomy news gets worse as the economic crisis enters its recession phase. I predict difficult days are ahead.

Parallel universes are real

What was once a staple of science fiction is now seen as a powerful new model for reality. Parallel universes are part of the MWI or multi world interpretation brought on by a landmark discovery by Hugh Everett who published his paper on MWI in 1957. There is not one universe, but many.

A new robowalker automaton from Japan can allow an employee to be on their feet a long time. Also to crawl and get in uncomfortable positions with less stress on their bodies.

End of the roads for GM cars?

Analysts claim that GM will run out of money sometime in 2009. President Obama wants to rescue the giant automotive manufacturer that he calls the backbone of america. However, there some that say that a bailout can't save GM.

GM, maker of the iconic Hummer, faces a grim future. We cannot ignore the current reality. You don't need a HDR time machine from Steven Gibbs to see the future. As the government prints more and more green pieces of paper; those pieces of paper will lose their value. My wish is to invest in gold. Gold is real and had retained its value for centuries. Many companies that are around now, will not be, in the future.

Apple Iphone is king

I made the prediction many years ago that Apple Computers would go into the phone business with an Iphone. And that it would be a big success. I even predicted the year of the Iphone as 2007 and said that it would rule in 2009.

Well, Apple is king with Iphone, and it is going to dominate the market in 2009 as predicted. The debunkers that said that Motorola would crush crapple and make apple sauce out of them were wrong. It is Motorola that is in trouble. The mighty RAZR has lost its edge.

Short Circuit City goes under

I predicted that Circuit City would go BANKRUPT and it did. The once mighty consumer electronics retailing giant has run out of cash. Well, many are saying that it was obvious, however only a few months ago they were laughing at my prediction of a deflationary depression. Time to stop laughing.

Small scale mini nukes in the future?

Miniature nuclear reactors could be the bright light of tomorrow. The produce electricity of about a dime a kilowatt/hour and can serve 10,000 homes. The cost of a mininuke is 25 million dollar, but that is much less than a comparable coal fired plant.

This is the wave of the future. People want power and we will see more emphasis on small scale generators in the days to come.

Did Ben Franklin discover electricity?

Without electricity there would be no HDR, or any electronics, or internet, or advanced technology. Therefore we can credit Ben for our high tech world.

more banks fail

As predicted, more banks are going under. Today federal authorities seized Franklin Bank and Security Pacific. This is a bad sign, because even with the 750 billion dollar bank bailout, we still have falling banks.

Yesterday the market was down over 400 points, and the day before over 500 points, and today it rebounded almost 250 points. The economy is in a tail spin. If we lose GM, millions of jobs will be lost due to the pivotal role that GM plays. Time is of essence and the people must realize that things are falling apart.

President Obama

It was back in 2005 when he first began to show up as a possible president. Many, including me thought Hillary would win, but against all odds President Obama won. Truly an epic journey.

Who will win?

Today is election day. People are gathering at the polls. We will see history made today. Yes, our science tells us that we cannot see the future, but what if we can? Then we would see a fork in the road; two paths that lead to very different futures. The Hyper Dimensional Resonator built by Steven Gibbs is the tool to see our path. On this historic occasion a new chapter is written in American history. Which road will we travel? Today we decide.

Factory on idle

The american manufacturing index falls to 26-year low in October. Yet another sign that we are heading into a major deflationary depression. Things are far worse than people believe. We need a strong hand on the till.

Things icy in Iceland

The gov rose rates to 18% and economic crisis in full swing. People protest against the party, and say that the gov not interested in the will of the people. Already there are shortages in stores as the island country cannot import food.
