Surgery without scars

Doctors are working on new ways to do surgery without scars. This new development means that traditional sugery with a post operative process of healing is passe. Now we will be able to send patients home the next day.

I predict that in the future surgery without scars will becomne quite common. This concept is a staple of science fiction like in the movie Logan's Run with laser surgery now becoming science real.

We will use new machines and new methods to perform no scar surgery in the future.

General says US needs bigger army

A United States general made the comment that a bigger army is needed due to insufficient force levels. My guess is that a draft will be passed so we can invade iran.

Those people that made fun of me will not be laughing as they march through the sand. Instread bitter tears of anguish will fill their faces. I knew this was coming.

Future news will tell of wars in the gulf. Wars over oil will dominate the headlines. The future John Titor talked about is almost here.

Red planet or Dead planet?

Many people talk about terraforming Mars in the future. We could convert the 4th planet into an earth-like environment. Currently the red planet is a dead planet, but this was not always so. There is evidence of giant oceans on Mars in the deep past and of fossils.

We will no dobt find out that Mars was once a happening place, eventhough now it is dry as a bone and dusty. Huge dust storms on Mars are a problem for would be terraformers. Still, Mars is the future.

Toyota number one

GM is number two and Toyota is number one. Back in 2001 I predicted that oil prices would soar and that gasoline would become very expensive, I said that as a consequence GM with its big SUVs would fall and Toyota would be number one by 2008.

The debunkers laughed at my predictions of high gas prices, they laughed at how I said that the US auto industry was doomed due to big dinosaur sized cars. They called me doomass. Well, now the debunkers claim that GM being number two was obvious.

Obvious to who? To the execs at GM, to the politicians in DC? Certainly not to the debunkers that made fun of my predictions.

I went further and said that new technologies like hybrids cars similar to the now popular Toyota Prius would rocket the Japanese to the top. The results speak for themselves.

As late as January 2007 when gasoline was selling at $2/gal - look at the picture - the debunkers were saying that PEAK OIL was a hoax. That I was wrong, there was lots of oil. That oil was going down in price and it would soon be sold at a dollar a gallon.

Back then in Jan 2007 I predicted that come July 2007 gasoline prices would rise to over $3/gal. The debunkers laughed at me. We will see who is right on July 4, 2007.

Dean of MIT resigns for lying

The dean of MIT resign for lying about academic credentials. This should tell you a lot about scientists. If the dean of MIT is a liar what about lower level scientists?

Simply because a scientist says something does not make it true. Back in the 50's scientists paid by cigarette firms were debunking nicotine causing cancer. Like all debunkers they were using flawed data that led to the death of millions. There where even doctors that came out and said that cigarettes were good for you.

Ask scientists now about that "research" that "proved" no connection between cigarettes and cancer and they will tell you "I don't know what you are talking about, look I am very busy -"

Science is a religion not based on finding the truth, but on helping maintain the status quo. Pet theories that should have been discarded years ago are parroted as truth. Open your eyes.

Apple on a roll

Apple earings beat wall street expectation, with sales of computers and ipods well above forecast. I said this would happen. My prediction was apple over 100 in 2007 and over 200 in 2009 largely on sales of the iphone.

People who bought apple stock like I said they should in 2004 are laughing all the way to the bank.

Prof fired for discussing VA Tech shootings

A college prof was fired for doing an open discussion about the VA shootings. We are living in a very PC society.

John Titor
warned us about what was happening. We are losing our liberties. This is but the tip of the iceberg. Expect more and more restrictions on speech as time goes by.

Hitler's Fuel

Nazi Germany used coal as liquid fuel instead of petrol. Also aparteid South Africa. This is an alternative as the US has a 500 year supply of coal. It could be used in an emergency.

Hitler's fuel was coal turned to liquid. This powered the NAZI war machine. Perhaps dirty coal will once again rear its ugly head. We can only pray that does not occur.

International Exhibition of Inventions

The International Exhibition of Inventions in Switzerland had over 700 inventors with their gizmos and gadgets. All kinds of fun devices were on display to the public.

One man has the papimi which uses electromagnetics in an effort to cure disease. There are many interesting developments.

High Price of Gas goes higher

Back in Jan 2007 I saw that regular was $1.87/gallon and I predicted that soon it would go over $3/gal. Well, soon is now. In California people are paying $3.35/gallon for regular gasoline and the rest of the nation hovers just under 3.

Back in 2004 I told people to sell their SUVs and buy scooters. That $3/gal gas was right around the corner. In 2005 the price shot above three, but Katrina was blamed, then it happened again in 2006, and now it will happen again in 2007.

I predict that before the end of the decade it will go over four. Yes over $4/gal for gas. The debunkers can laugh now, but when it happens the will do a debunker flipflop and claim it was obvious - peak oil.

Sea Level changes threaten one billion people

It is estimated that about one billion people live near the coast as less than 100 feet above sea level. The melting of Greenland glaciers will cause many people in Miami to be underwater. In fact most of Florida is less than 30 feet above sea level.

Sea Level changes threaten one billion people with devastation.
Global warming is causing not just rises in sea level but killer hurricanes as warm water increases their power and intensity. May God have mercy on us all.

Bomb Iran Joke

McCain make a joke of bombing Iran, and many laughed. This is no laughing matter. I predict that soon the US will have a confrontation with the People's Islamic Republic of Iran.

We face a very uncertain future, but one thing is certain the price at the pump will go up. Jokes like the one McCain made are a sign that many think the current situation is funny.

Perhaps now we can see why Hillary wins in 2008.

Stone Hawk

In the news we read about famous people like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears that are put in rehab, but many later fall back into their old ways. Rehab becomes a revolving door.

Stone Hawk Narconon has a program that eliminates the craving that keeps pulling people back into the trap. They have a drug detox program that helps the body eliminate residues of chemicals that trigger the relapse.

I know people that work at Narconon and they are doing a great job in helping recovering addicts break free from their chains. They are working to help people lead healthy lifestyles free from poisonous chemicals. I wish more people would become aware of the Stone Hawk Narconon program.

I have seen many of my best friends destroyed by drugs. They had their dreams derailed when they crashed and burned. People need to know that there is hope. Sometimes it seems that drugs take the best and brightest. People who had so much to offer.

That is why I recommend that people become aware of their options. You do not have to be a slave forever - you can be free. If a friend is into the party lifestyle then refer them to a drug rehab program before it is too late.

You will be glad you did.

First Bird Flu Vaccine

FDA will OK first bird flu vaccine for use in humans this year. So far the H5N1 Avian Influenza has infected over 300 people killing over 50% of those affected with this deadly contagion.

Although the bird flu vaccine is not perfect it is our first line defense against a disease that if it mutates into super virulent form could kill billions. The news of a vaccine is very welcome.

The government plans to stockpile enough vaccine for twenty million people. We should ask for a more robust response. This disease is spread by infected birds, they are the carriers. An effective strategy would be to destroy infected birds to stop the spread of the deadly H5N1 avian influenza.

Walmart no1 in fortune 500

Mighty megastore Walmart regained top spot this year againt oil giant exxon mobile. The king of retail buys most of its products in China and pays its workers below market wages.

Walmart is a net job destroyer not a creator. The jobs it does create pay little more than the minimum wage which has not gone up in years.

Profits at the big box stores are great, but little of that money is going to the workers.

The battle of Google/Yahoo

I still use Yahoo from time to time, but most of my searches are via Google. In fact the battle between Google and Yahoo rages on. Google is winning.

Yahoo was the king of search in the 20th century, but Google is king in the 21st century.

Everyday Google gains marketshare. It is the new king.

Futuristic aircraft headed to Iraq

After eighteen years of work in labs and over twenty billion in expenses, a new tilt rotor aircraft that can hover like a helicopter and fly like a plane is headed to Iraq.

Marine will deploy the controversial V22
Osprey that can carry troops twices as fast and thrice as far as conventional aircraft. This hybrid of a helicopter and an airplane had two fatal crashes in 2000, but the problems are said to be fixed.

The V22 Osprey is supposed to eventally replace heicopters.

How to save on fuel costs

The tiny three cylinder Geo Metro was supposed to get about 50 miles per gallon, but I bought one and got only 20 mpg. Seem somebody somewhere was doing a bit of X-aggeratin'!

Even on highway I got nowhere near 50 mpg. This led me to think of other ways to save on fuel. I bought a scooter with one cylinder that is supposed to get 100 mpg, but actual mpg was rumored to be about 35mpg. After testing my scooter I am getting abou 150 mpg city!

Yes the scotter goes real slow - only 35 - 40 mph on level ground and 20 mpg up hills, with 60 mph down the hill, but this is real performance.

When thinking of future transportation many wonder about teleporters of science fiction, but I see the scooter as the mode of transportation of the future.

Future of Propane

Out in the countryside you see a lot of propane tanks. They are called pigs. The truck that delivers propane gas is called a bobtail. In areas of the country were power outages are frequent a supply of propane insures heat in a cold winter, but what is the future of propane?

We live in a world filled with uncertainties, but a propane range allows you to cook food when electricity is out. A propane water heater to have warm water. There are even propane based gas lights.

It would seem that the future is bright for propane gas, but it is expensive and explosive. The future will no doubt find a better form of energy to power our homes.

Real Estate Market Singing the Blues

For the first time in forty years the real estate market has dropped and it continues to go down. This mirrors a prediction I made in 2004 when I told people to sell sell SELL!

The debunkers laughed at me and now they are crying. Real estate is crashing as predicted. I still remember debunkers calling me doomass. Now they claim the drop in prices was "obvious". Well, I guess nobody told that banks that are failing, or the realtors that are out of work.

Rather than laugh at me they should have sold their house back in the pre crash 2004 when you could get top dollar, now good luck selling at bargain basement prices. The realtor told me that land is also not moving.

Green Tech

Green design is new type of technology with its emphasis on placing more energy efficient devices in peoples homes. For example the old incandescent Edison light bulb produces only 10-20 lumens of light per watt, versus florescent invented by Tesla bulbs generate 35-70 l/w.

New tech LED lightwalls are efficiency exemplars with the ability to radiate 70-100 l/w. This is truly the technology of the future.

Apple sells 100 millionth ipod

History was made, Apple sold its 100 millionth ipod to an eager public. Apple has already sold billions of songs through itunes and it now getting the iphone ready.

I predicted that Apple computer stock would go over 200 dollars in 2009 on sales of the iphone. The iphone will rocket Apple to the top. I also predict that the hopping mad debunkeroos will do a "debunker flipflop" when sales of the iphone take off.

When I predicted that Apple would do well back in 2000. The debunkers made fun of me and said Apple Computer would go under because it had less than 5% of the computer market. They said only hippies buy crapple.

When I predicted the iphone would be a best seller they made fun of me. No talk of apple sauce or the ipoop or iphoney now. The debunkers are very silent. As well they should be.

Woman sells all her belongings on Ebay

Lisa Perry is selling all her stuff on Ebay. She finds the experience liberating getting rid of years of accumulated trikets and toys. The massive auction has a reserve of $2000 and is over on thursday.

I hope she gets a lot of money and a fresh start.

Children of the Future

Sometimes we might wonder about future children?

How will they look? What hobbies shall these pupils of the far futurity enjoy? Where will they live, in floating mega metropolis, an orbital platform, or perhaps another planet?

For what we have seen, the future will require skills that we do not now have. Skills such as stage coach driver and truck driver are very different. As technology advances many current jobs will become outmoded and obsolete. A conductor of a steam locomotive cannot step aboard a 747 jumbo jet and land it safely.

We will see dramatic advances in technology as we go forward. I predict that the children of the future will live in a world far different from our own.

Fast Food Future

In the future things will be different than now. We have seen immense and dramatic advances in computers, but robotics is now taking off. Fast food restaurants will use robots in the days to come to serve burgers.

We know that high technology will invade the restaurant leading to massive layoffs, but what about fast food in the future?

Well, the cost of labor was always an obstacle on the road to greater profits. This led to a drive to automate using robots the most labor intensive of industries. So in the future, few work in the fast food industry.

Future Homes

Ever wonder what future homes will look like? Will they be futuristic sci-fi dwellings like in the Jetsons?

What people in the future will use the house for, besides eating and sleeping? Many sci-fi movies show us strange looking dwellings like in the new upcoming Disney film "Meet the Robinsons", but we may yet wonder.

The houses of the far tomorrow may be built using nano materials and employing processes that we do not understand. It might be that we will soon see these modernistic marvels of the days ahead.
