no recovery is near

They saw there is a tale of two recoveries as some feel that things keep getting worse. Frankly, it is because reality is starting to hit home. People now realize that there is no recovery. Prosperity is just around the corner - well it ain't.

UAE seizes weapons on ship bound from NK to iran

Today, UAE seize weapons on ship bound from NK to iran. Well, this could cause some trouble. I believe that North Korea is waiting for an excuse. It could be that in the near future they will attack.

Best SyFy of all time

Here is a list of the 100 top science fiction shows of all time. It is very interesting to see that much fiction has already become fact. Sci-Fi is an exciting place in space because so many things that seem so impossible back then, like lasers back in the 1930's are now so common that you can get one at your local mart.

Here is hoping that SyFy staples such as flying cars and time machines become even more common in the future.

Peak Water II

Desert landscape

What happens when we run out of water? OK you may have heard of PEAK OIL, but what about water? Well, and I mean well as in a deep hole in the ground. The Ogallala aquifer is running dry. It helps produce much of the food grown in america. Actually, over the last century we have been mining water. This is geological water from the last ice age. When it is gone so are we. Latest calculations from science says that it shall take over 6,000 years to refill the Ogallala Aquifer with rain water. Frankly our way of life is in deep darkness. A new dust bowl will arise.

unemplyment hits record high in japan

Japan hit record high unemployment due to a worsening of economic recession. All this talk of a light at the end of the tunnel, well it is an oncoming freight train. Here come the WREAKcovery. Sales of goods are still falling. Get ready for a camzarian discovery. The numbers do not add up.

Toyota in Trouble

World's largest automobile manufacturer, Totoya will make massive cuts to production as global economy spin out of control. They have suffer ten straight months of declining sales. Forecast is that things might turn around in 2011 maybe.

OK in US a weaker dollar is causing WREAKcovery. This means higher oil prices. It means less money to buy cars.

Steven Gibbs is forecasting that things are going to get ugly. Time is not going to be on our side. Due to massive printing of green pieces of paper, inflation will take off. Pat Buchanan says our demo-crazy cannot survive our projected nine trillion dollar deficit.

prez witman?

California ExCEO Meg Witman could re the next president. This figure might not be a bad choice for US. She was once CEO of ebay. Has a lot of experience, and might be just what we need.

Technology addicts

A teenager who is addicted to war games will be first patient at new US internet addiction clinic. This could be the start of a trend. Perhaps in the future men will prefer cute robot girlfriends to the real thing. This reminds me of CarlosX future robot repairman.

open office is open

True open office is a very open software, but word is not. It uses special formatting that gets lost in translation. This is a way microsoft wants to dominate the office software market. By making their software not work well with others they hold on to their monopoly for a few years more.

In the future I predict that open source will rule. The max expensive super buggy programs we have now, will be but a pain sore memory.

Yahoo accuse violating law

Yahoo was accuse of allowing unregistered illegal online pharmacies to operate using its advertising network. They ignore strict laws and allow people to buy "see alice" over the internet. Charges could include felony computer crime due to seriousness of what is taking place.

crude oil falls on increase in jobless

In a sign that there is no recovery, an increase in jobless claim causes crude oil futures to fall. Those who thought that all was well can relax, because we are using less oil due to an increase in unemployment. As people lose their jobs they consume less gasoline meaning a drop in net oil consumption.

John Deere speak of weak sales

Future may well remember that John Deere sales are down 29%. How can it be? People need food, and tractors are necessary to till the soil. That said, I see that our global economy is in a downward spiral. Folks, even now Deere, the world’s biggest manufacturer of agricultural equipment, which is needed to produce food. They say this year 2009 Deere had its largest single year decline in their entire history.

censors

UK film board bans Japanese movie. These censors do claim the movie is too graphic. It is so intense the movie can damage viewers. Well, I believe that what we are seeing is censors in action. Police states always have excuses. It is now that some pools in England have burkinis and have made the bikini illegal. Where are we going?

HP earning are DOWn

HP a major component of the dow fell 19% today due to weak sales. I warn people to get out soon. Things are going to take a sharp turn for the worse.

Stocks stumble

What we are seeing is a global panic. Stock markets around the world are in free fall as news comes out that there is no recovery. Folks, banksters are liars. Heck, they can't even stop a hacker from stealing 130 million credit cards. Where is all that TARP money?

Lowe's stock drops 10.3% as news comes out that housing numbers are horrible. The only thing a debunker can do is giggle and say "everything is fine".

Highest pay CEO list

These are top ten highest paid exec. Funny how it is OK to make 100 million per year when your job is to sit in a corner office. However, workers get cuts and DOWNsizing and OUTsourcing. OK now we are DOWN & OUT!

Peak Water

OK one of many predictions John Titor made was the lack of clean water in our future. People, we will hit peak water soon. Peak oil was hit in 2005 and last year we were paying 147 per barrel. I know it is about half now, but I predict that we will see 8 dollar a gallon gasoline in the next decade. There is a scooter in your future.

Getting back to water, there is now a shortage of water and power in India. True, we can blame global warming, but I blame lack of vision. I blame lack of planning. Peak water is near.

True unemployment over 16%

Folks, we are being sold down the river. True unemployment is at 16.3% and near 20% just like the great depression. I expect that today's new figures are going to shock few. The reason is that most of us know that things are bad and getting to be far worse.

US Police arrest blogger critical of them

This case shows US is a police state much like nazi germany. A blogger critical of police was arrested today. Her crime appears to be mentioning the name of a police officer who she claim was a thug. I guess freedom of speech is dead.

Folks this is serious, they are going after bloggers now. Like all police states, they talk about national security. These gestapo tactics are common in repressive regimes.

Xenophobia against China on rise in Africa

People in resource rich Africa see China as an aggressor. Xenophobia against Chinese is on rise in Africa. OK some say that the reason is treatment of muslims in China. Others point to high unemployment cause by a global financial collapse. Truth is there are many reasons, but I have found that most Chinese people I know hate Africans and refer to them in less than complimentary terms. This could be a factor.

unconstitutional census

Why are we counting illegal aliens for voting purposes? California may get nine more seats in congress. People, our 2010 census is unconstitutional. This is an attack at the heart of our democracy. Basically, we are allowing criminals to skew the power of voters. Folks our census should not count criminals.

What will happen soon

Senior woman smiling

People on fixed incomes will lose their houses. There will be shortages of many products. Obama says "Things will get worse before they get better." I agree as in a lot worse. However, some say that the stock market is going up. Well, look at things this way. It never goes down or up in a straight line. The rally is artificial. It cannot hold up.

I predict more inflation in the future as well as more unemployment. This mirrors what Ron Paul said, an inflationary depression. Lots of green pieces of paper, but few jobs.

Rupert Murdoch want you to pay

OK no more nice guy. Rupert Murdoch will charge money for internet content. His sad little empire will soon be in the ash can of change. Expect that as our recession worsens, few if any will spend cold cash on paper. Why are people going to pay money for something they now receive for free?

Wednesday, August 05, 2009

Talk about cold cash

Hey, congressman William Jefferson used to have money in his freezer. He likes storing the green. It seems he will now do a little time.

no more Radio Shack?

I remember telling Steven Gibbs that I did not see any Radio Shacks in the future. This is a problem because he uses parts from RS to build his own HDR units. Well, it seems that a name change in branding is afoot. Good old Radio Shack will simply rebrand as the shack.

Not every sleepy little town electronics shop has to stock common component parts for your HDR, but we could always depend on Radio Shack, err THE SHACK...

Muslim Majority

I predict that planet earth will be Majority Muslim in this century. Already, we see many countries that were once Christian have growing Muslim populations. For example, in russia there will be a Muslim majority by midcentury. The Christian Orthodox church is now in demographic decline because their members have less than two children per couple (1.3) versus Muslims have about 8 children per couple. I predict that russia will soon become a sharia law Muslim run nation.

Google vs microhoo

Google is fighting the combined colossus of microsoft and yahoo. Who will survive now? Well, back in 2000 John Titor said that in 2036 neither of the two giants are around. Therefore so guess is Google that wins this one.

Predictions of the future

Here are twenty predictions of pending future technologies that people are waiting for. OK some such as the flying car and jetpack exist, but are too expensive. AND, as for the anwer machine, you can say our internet and google are close. There is a misnomer. Article say no time travel machine, so guess they never heard of a Steven Gibbs HDR.
