Cyber Monday sales surge 20% over last year. Friends, this is quite a surge. However, mostly it is shoppers trying to save money. Things are cheaper online you see. Web stores on Cyber Monday have less overhead and can offer reduced prices. This hits hard brick retail chains across our nation and means less total employment in years to come.

People keep talking about going green. The idea is to be a problem solution not a cause. Well, say hello to our gov. Actually, here is what they see. Yeah, another excuse to tax us. It is not that they even need an excuse.

This is the carbon tax of course. It is suppose to help us. However, the effect is that it drives up the cost of energy. Hey, can you say more inflation in prices. Well, that is what is coming. The gov loves green as in money.

FED is going to do 500 billion in buying bonds again. It is the key to bringing down interest rates they say. Hey, it I thought they were already too low as is. Well, they want to renew our economy's vigor. Sadly, this will do nothing to help our economy. Let's face facts, inflation is increasing now. Most affected are food and energy. These are excluded from core cpi. However, you will feel the pinch at the pump. Also, when you enter your local grocery.

blue moon

Sunday's full moon was a true blue moon. The next one will in August 31, 2012 occur. That means we have to wait a while for a new one. It like to use my HDR unit during a full moon. Steven Gibbs says it works better on such days even. My HDR unit has inside a tensor coil that produces scalar waves. This I believe is the special sauce.

Dollar lower against yen

US dollar continues to go lower against japanese yen. There is now a chorus of cries. People are indeed starting to worry. So far, we see no actions to defend our dollar against further erosion. Fear does abound of a coming collapse of our currency. How much longer can this game go on? Yeah, I did say game. Ben Bernake defends his scary actions saying that QE2 is necessary. He says it will keep our economy growing. Well, if you believe that, you might just want to buy the Brooklyn Bridge and a florida swamp.

Timeless is an action thriller time travel movie. Yeah, it is about romance. Hey, this topic keeps coming up. Well, we are not sure of the reason. OK so guess romance is timeless even. Perhaps, but I wonder if this will make it to your local cinema. I believe there are too many time travel stories out there anyway. Fact is we do not need another one. Especially, like right now.

Friends, they say there is a slow recovery across europe. However, that is not what we see. It is more like no recovery. Wish there was an end to the world wide economic crisis. Things are not getting better, but are worse. Sadly, this is in spite of interest rate held down near zero.

final voyage

For the space shuttle this is the final voyage. It is the last chapter in its conquest of space. There was a delay yesterday due to rain. Sadly, today we will see it take off for the last time ever. It is a moment most epic. This has been a long and hard journey. Yet, we are sad to see it go on its final voyage.

reps wins

OK so one of my keystone predictions was that republicans would in 2010 win control of congress. Well, the reps did win. Sadly, many will claim my prediction was obvious, and that they could see in coming a mile away. Yeah, the same debunker that giggled and said I was crazy. I wonder what those debunkers will do when there is no food in the grocery. That is another one of my crazy predictions that will come.

In terms of space and bandwidth, we need more. Today I went by Radio Shack T-mobile has a data plan that is 5 gigs. They want $59 / mo. Virgin mobile has one that is $40 and unlimited bandwidth even. T-mobile counters with $10 /mo for 200 megs. This has got to be a typo right - wrong. Who uses the word meg anymore. Folks, the new word is gigs. I can use in one day seven gigs. Yeah, that is approx one movie.

Monday, November 01, 2010

Tomorrow is a big day for me. It should also be for you. This election may be so epic. My prediction is that the reps will take the house and control congress. Time will tell as they say. Few would listen to me in 2008, but we will see.
