SLOW recovery across europe?

Friends, they say there is a slow recovery across europe. However, that is not what we see. It is more like no recovery. Wish there was an end to the world wide economic crisis. Things are not getting better, but are worse. Sadly, this is in spite of interest rate held down near zero.
