Man tried to blow up nuclear power plant

A man brought an explosive device to a the biggest electrical generating plant in the US - bigger than nine Hoover Dams. He wanted to blow up the Palos Verdes Nuclear Power Plant in Arizona. This would be a major terrorist act, worse than even Chernobyl.

The nuclear plant employee was stopped with the explosive device, a capped pipe, today at the Palos Verdes Nuclear Power Plant. This is the largest nuclear power plant in the nation.
