Which is the biggest company in the world? Well it is not Exxon, it is PetroChina worth one trillion dollars - that is TRILLION with a "T". Exxon is worth less than half that. The Chinese oil giant stocks trade in Shanghai, Hong Kong and New York.

As we enter the new millennium we realize that we are living in a different world, one no longer dominated by Europeans. The center of power first moved west from Europe to America, and west again from America to Asia.
