Malls surge in vacancies

Malls now face a surge in vacancies. Ghost malls are becoming common. This is due to our poor economy. OK some people are blaming the internet and web retailers such as amazon. Well, that might be true in some areas. People are trying to save money. Buying over the internet is less expensive. Also, there is the factor of high gas prices. Mostly that will affect people in rural regions. In a large city most stores are near. However, in the country side they are far away. Expect more malls to close as gas prices rise.
