Cyber Monday sales surge 20% over last year. Friends, this is quite a surge. However, mostly it is shoppers trying to save money. Things are cheaper online you see. Web stores on Cyber Monday have less overhead and can offer reduced prices. This hits hard brick retail chains across our nation and means less total employment in years to come.

People keep talking about going green. The idea is to be a problem solution not a cause. Well, say hello to our gov. Actually, here is what they see. Yeah, another excuse to tax us. It is not that they even need an excuse.

This is the carbon tax of course. It is suppose to help us. However, the effect is that it drives up the cost of energy. Hey, can you say more inflation in prices. Well, that is what is coming. The gov loves green as in money.

Well, they want to renew our economy's vigor. Sadly, this will do nothing to help our economy. Let's face facts, inflation is increasing now. Most affected are food and energy. These are excluded from core cpi. However, you will feel the pinch at the pump. Also, when you enter your local grocery.

blue moon

Sunday's full moon was a true blue moon. The next one will in August 31, 2012 occur. That means we have to wait a while for a new one. It like to use my HDR unit during a full moon. Steven Gibbs says it works better on such days even. My HDR unit has inside a tensor coil that produces scalar waves. This I believe is the special sauce.

Dollar lower against yen

US dollar continues to go lower against japanese yen. There is now a chorus of cries. People are indeed starting to worry. So far, we see no actions to defend our dollar against further erosion. Fear does abound of a coming collapse of our currency. How much longer can this game go on? Yeah, I did say game. Ben Bernake defends his scary actions saying that QE2 is necessary. He says it will keep our economy growing. Well, if you believe that, you might just want to buy the Brooklyn Bridge and a florida swamp.

For the space shuttle this is the final voyage. It is the last chapter in its conquest of space. There was a delay yesterday due to rain. Sadly, today we will see it take off for the last time ever. It is a moment most epic. This has been a long and hard journey. Yet, we are sad to see it go on its final voyage.

OK so one of my keystone predictions was that republicans would in 2010 win control of congress. Well, the reps did win. Sadly, many will claim my prediction was obvious, and that they could see in coming a mile away. Yeah, the same debunker that giggled and said I was crazy. I wonder what those debunkers will do when there is no food in the grocery. That is another one of my crazy predictions that will come.
