Stimulus packaged snagged in the senate

The economy is in trouble and now we hear that the stimulus package is stuck in the Senate. Most of the senators appear to be in favor of the bill, but they are toying with it rather than passing it.

Maybe the voters should call their reps and ask what the hold up is. Why is it that the economic stimulus package is stuck in the senate?

Perhaps there is a reason that we are not aware of, but I wish they would hurry. Here is hoping for a brighter day.
