How big is the Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill?

They say it is one of the biggest oil spills ever. However, how big is the Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill? I feel that this incident will be drown out by other news. This is an environmental catastrophe max major.

 An underwater fix was made possible by a robotic submarine to install an oil spill cap. This is one of the worst disasters in the entire history of america.  It is like Hurricane Katrina on steroids and then some. Please remember that a rainbow comes after the rain. We should try to move toward alternative sources of energy. Sadly, our terrible oil spill was necessary to happen to alert us of the danger of offshore drilling, but we should heed the warning.
