Do people in the future talk funny?

This is a question we can ask and hope for an answer. Basically, we can wonder about what tomorrow will bring, but so few can imagine. For example, right now we are going thru the great american vowel shift which will change how we speak to each of us. True, people in the future will sound funny - to us.
